Kids can create their own kaleidoscope with this tried-and-true, American-made Princess Kaleidoscope Kit, a very popular gift for birthday parties. The mirrors (actually three pieces of metallic paper) are already enclosed. The kaleidoscope is endlessly customizable by popping off the cover of the dry cell and choosing among any combinations of the enclosed pretty beads and assorted baubles as the moving objects in the cell. Different combinations of size, shape, color, and texture will create different interior images, and the child can collect anything around them to use as well, such as tiny toys, shells, pebbles, etc. A cute sheet with instructions is even included (see photo).
