Sparky

Sparky is a kaleidoscope made of the Kittelsons' fused and slumped glass, utilizing a 3-mirror, 6-point mirror system. Its finely machined metal end turns very smoothly, and the very vivid 3-mirror interior image is a result of Peggy's signature and masterful lamp-worked glass pieces in a variety of shapes, textures, and colors, all carefully selected to compliment its barrel color. Its absolutely exquisite in every detail.

This kaleidoscope makes a memorable gift, whether for a wedding, retirement or for the person who's difficult to shop for. It measures 8.5" long x 1.75" in diameter, and 2.25" tall when standing on its own walnut stand. It measures 8-1/2" long x 1-3/4" in diameter, and 2-1/4" tall when standing on its own walnut stand.

Sparky is available in a very large variety of glass colors, such as: Berry Mix, Black, Blue Green, Cobalt Blue, Carnival Cranberry, Lavender, Gold Hunter, Mauve Sorbet, Mediterranean Blue, Pink Parfait, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow. Textured glass colors include: Brown, Caribbean Blue, Cream, Flame, Lavender, Moss Green, and Flame (Red/Yellow/Orange).

If you don't see your preferred glass color, we can order it for you.

If this particular kaleidoscope style is not currently in stock, please be aware that the exact coloration and/or texture of exterior of this style may be slightly different than this photo when special ordered. Artists who work in glass typically start from very large sheets of glass whose colors, patterns, and/or texture often change and shift over the course of each sheet. Where the specific pieces of glass are cut on a sheet will determine what the end resulting kaleidoscope will look like. Also, changes can occur in the kiln.

We like to show the breadth of each artist's kaleidoscope line, which explains why it may appear that we don't have many in stock. If you don't see the "Add to Cart" button for the item you want below, please contact us about special ordering it. Keep in mind that they are all handcrafted, and take more time to create than manufactured items. They may appear slightly different in color and/or pattern than the photos below of the ones we had in stock in the past. This can be based on the artist's current supply of glass at the time of ordering, where they may cut the pieces of glass on a large sheet of shifting patterns, and of course, their expert, artistic choice.
