A Blue Dream, a parlor/handheld, 2-mirror, 8-point mandala, oil-cell kaleidoscope is handcrafted from two cut glass oil lamp fonts decorated with Swarovski crystals which are then mounted together. The oil cell is filled with Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, and lamp-worked Murano glass, all in dominant shades of blue. From the initial glimpse of its extravagant crystal-encrusted exterior to the close inspection of its spectacular interior images, this is truly a piece of art of which one dreams. Holding it is like taking a journey back in time, where detail, meticulous craftsmanship, and creative design were valued greatly. This is a limited-edition kaleidoscope, specifically #22 of 40.

Massimo recalls visiting his grandmother's home and finding the inspiration for A Blue Dream. He says, "I used to spend hours during my lazy summer afternoons at my maternal grandmother's home, cruising through the objects on her bedroom chest of drawers. I was fascinated by her cut glass, blue powder box with the matching eau de perfume bottle and jewelry box."
